Omar Joseph serves as President of Production and Music at Hidden Empire Film Group, where he plays a central role in shaping the company’s creative vision, production strategy, and music integration initiatives. Working closely with the executive leadership team, he helps guide projects from concept to completion while ensuring that storytelling, production quality, and audience engagement remain at the forefront of every project. His unique combination of creative expertise, production leadership, and music industry knowledge has made him an integral part of Hidden Empire’s continued growth and success across film and television.

Film Production Career

Throughout his career, Omar has built an impressive portfolio of producer and executive producer credits on commercially successful and culturally impactful films. His work includes producing Traffik, The Intruder, Meet the Blacks, and Fear, while also serving as Co-Executive Producer on Fatale. Earlier in his career, he worked as Associate Producer on Supremacy and contributed to major projects such as Black and Blue. His extensive production experience spans development, pre-production, principal photography, post-production, and release strategy, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the filmmaking process and the ability to successfully manage projects of varying scale and complexity.

Music Strategy & Creative Integration

In addition to his accomplishments as a producer, Omar has played a significant role in developing music and soundtrack strategies for several Hidden Empire productions. He has overseen music partnerships, licensing negotiations, soundtrack development, and creative alignment for films such as Fatale and Traffik. By ensuring that music complements and enhances each project's emotional tone and narrative objectives, he has helped create more immersive viewing experiences while strengthening the commercial appeal and cultural relevance of the films. As President of Production and Music, Omar works closely alongside Hidden Empire co-founders Deon Taylor and Roxanne Avent Taylor throughout every stage of production. His responsibilities extend across concept development, script evaluation, talent identification, production planning, and post-production execution. Raised in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, New York, Omar developed a strong work ethic and community-focused mindset that continue to influence his leadership style today. He attended George Westinghouse High School before pursuing higher education and collegiate basketball at Consumnes River College in Sacramento, California. It was during these formative years that he met Deon Taylor, beginning a friendship and professional partnership that would eventually help shape the foundation and success of Hidden Empire Film Group. The lessons learned through sports, teamwork, and perseverance remain central to his approach to leadership, collaboration, and creative problem-solving.
