Leadership Role

Tracey L. Kemble has joined Hidden Empire Films as Head of Feature Development, overseeing the studio’s feature film development slate from its Santa Monica headquarters. In this role, she leads the creative development of major film projects and helps shape the company’s long-term content strategy.

Entertainment Industry Experience

Prior to joining Hidden Empire, Kemble served as Executive Vice President of Scripted Content at Jesse Collins Entertainment. She also held the position of Senior Vice President of Development & Production at Royal Ties Productions, where she oversaw the company’s first-look television and film agreement with Netflix.

Production & Creative Achievements

Kemble previously worked as a producer at BET Productions, overseeing projects from pre-production through post-production, including the documentary “Through the Fire: The Legacy of President Barack Obama.” Her experience spans scripted content, documentaries, television specials, and feature film development.

Television & Media Projects

As Executive Vice President of The Samuelsson Group, Kemble developed and produced the Cooking Channel series “Savoring Harlem.” She later collaborated with TV One on the special “John Legend Live from the Red Rooster,” working alongside acclaimed director Ava DuVernay.

Current Development Slate

At Hidden Empire Films, Kemble oversees a growing portfolio of feature projects, including “Freedom Ride,” based on the life of Congressman John Lewis, the studio’s reimagining of “Blacula,” and the development of a new horror film franchise.

Mentorship & Community Impact

Beyond entertainment, Roxanne is deeply committed to mentorship and social impact. Through her C.L.I.M.B. (Community, Learn, Inspire, Motivate, Build) mentoring program, she provides resources and opportunities to underserved young women. She has also partnered with nonprofit organizations to create training and workforce development pathways for aspiring entertainment professionals.
